The Dungeon Tower

To the left of the keep is the Dungeon Tower added to the inner curtain wall by de Valence. Climb the stairs and into the tower. In a corner of the chamber is a sinister illuminated hole in the ground. This was an oubliette - a hole where prisoners where literally forgotten. There was no access other than the hole.
